Visit filming spots : BLACKPINK House in Seoul

2024. 8. 11. 23:15Where to go in korea

Hello everyone, do you know BLACKPINK House? Today, I'm going to introduce you to three places that appeared on BLACKPINK House.

BLACKPINK is called the “K-Pop Queen” by continuing to set amazing new records, such as simultaneously ranking first on the U.S. Billboard 200 and the Official U.K. Albums Chart and winning two awards at the MTV Video Music Awards. It is no exaggeration to say that the world's attention is focused on BLACKPINK, as their world tour repeatedly sells out regardless of region.

Places introduced in BLACKPINK's reality show, “BLACKPINK House (2018),” vlogs, YouTube, etc., often become hot simply because BLACKPINK has visited them. This time, let’s visit a jjimjjilbang (sauna), where you can have a bulgama experience wearing a head towel, just as BLACKPINK did in “BLACKPINK House,” and Namsan Park, which Jisoo and Lisa visited in the vlog. You can also have some relaxing time at the pretty café where BLACKPINK stopped by to recharge.

1. Supsok Hanbang Land (숲속한방랜드)

Jjimjjilbang, a Korean-style sauna that combines a traditional bathhouse with a hot steam room, is often ranked high among the unique experiences in Korea chosen by foreigners. Taking a steam bath in a charcoal kiln discharges waste products from the skin through sweat and eliminates accumulated fatigue. Supsok Hanbang Land has several charcoal kilns for different temperatures. Using them in order from low to high-temperature rooms is good, but the highest-temperature room, “Kkottang,” has a risk of causing skinburn, so visitors are advised to wear socks and cotton gloves to enter the room. Another unique experience is to grill sweet potatoes or rice cakes on the brazier in front of the charcoal kiln.

2. Seoul Namsan Park (남산공원(서울))

Namsan Mountain rises in the heart of Seoul at an altitude of 265 meters and has been a significant landmark since the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897), leaving behind several ruins. It was heavily damaged in the early 20th century, but was partially restored in 1968 with the creation of the park. Highlights include Namsan Tower and love locks left by numerous couples. Visitors can also easily reach the top by a cable car or bus.

3. Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil Road (신사동 가로수길)

The ginkgo tree-lined street (Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil) that runs from Sinsa Station (Subway Line 3) to Hyeondae High School is a popular, upscale street in Seoul. The street (also known as ‘artists' street’) has an eccentric flair thanks to its variety of charmingly decorated coffee shops, and designer stores. Garosu-gil is particularly popular in autumn when the golden ginkgo leaves begin to fall. Furthermore, with continuous popularity, it has become one of the most attractive film locations in the city.
